In honour of the fabulous tailoring of the 1940s - this is our take on the forties skirt suit and pays homage to the iconic designer brand of the 40s and 50s - 'Lilli Ann'. If you are looking for that classic 1940s silhouette - then this suit is for you!
This supremely elegant 1940s style suit creates a stunning 40s silhouette via creating strong shoulders and a nipped in waist. This is created by shoulder pads and a peplum.
The tailored jacket has a flattering deep plunge neckline and fastens with 7 covered buttons. Peplum style further creates that nipped in look by enhancing the hip. Skirt is a simple pencil style with button and loop fastening at the waist. Jacket and skirt are fully lined.

I love this suit. I bought it with Kim Novak from 'Vertigo' in mind, and it didn't disappoint! Easy to wear and really flattering.
This is a wonderful winter suit. The moss green colour, and weight of fabric are perfect. It is also very well made. I own the black velvet version which is a slightly different cut and fit. The only disadvantage for me of the wool suit is sizing. I found the skirt to be tight on my hips and jacket a size too big. That said i will be defintely ordering another version in a different colour. It is a stunning suit.
