Elegant, dazzling, timeless...just a few of the many words that can describe this exquisite new dress inspired by an original late 1930s/early 40s evening dress. Lace that envelopes you like a cloud, flaring gently below a slim waistline with sparkling clasp on black ribbon belt. Exquisite.
This dress has similar features to those found in patterns dated 1939 or 1940. Sweetheart neckline is iconic of the 1940s but the sleeve shape was common in the late 1930s. It enhances the shoulders to create the view of a slim waist.
