Produced in our signature heavy crepe to pair with many garments in our range - this 1940s inspired turban has been based on an original vintage pattern and adapted for modern manufacturing.
The turban styles were popular in the 1940s when headwear was 'de rigeur' and gives the wearer a few days of hair style rest. Padded rose/twist at the front is a nice size for daywear - not too large or weighty. Turban is shaped to cover the head and has a line of gathers at the back with a strip of integrated elastic at the back for security of fit.
Turban is a snug fit and not especially good for covering buclky curlers - accurate measurements are difficult to give but outer edge of turban measures 21.5" with an additional 1.5" of stretch in the fabric.
Created in our navy heavy crepe - specifically to match: 1940s Grable, Betty, whirlaway skirts etc

I have this in blue and get a lot of complements when I wear it. Great to add a 1940s twist to an outfit. It was a snug fit at first but stretched to fit my head. I’m currently wearing with a 1940s blouse and shorts and brogues but would go equally well with the 40s skirts or dresses. I would like to get more colours.
