You - whimsical and elegant, 1930s style, in sumptuous navy crepe fit and flutter dress - a dress that looks likes it has come straight out of Ginger Rogers' wardrobe.

Our new 1930s 'Ginger' dress creates the classic thirties silhouette but with beautiful art deco style lines. The bodice has a really clever  V shape waist panel with top sticthing and gathers under the bust. Ivory contrast neckline 'flounce' gives the style a touch of the nautical. Faux belt with covered buckle nods again to the styles of the 1930s.

Typical of the 30s, this skirt reaches mid to low calf on average height ladies. Again we've used some of the iconic 1930s Art Deco style lines with a yoke panel shape which creates the fit. The style is fitted down the hip and thigh and flutters out at the bottom into the iconic 1930s style.

The skirt has a modern back zip and is part lined.

Fit class - Fitted
- fits close to the body. When garment is measured, it will measure close/slightly below the body measurements.

This skirt is made from fabric that has a touch of stretch in it - more of a comfort stretch. It does fit around hip at the top but we advise to select size via waist.

For more information on fit and sizing please visit our size guide. The measurements refer to 'your' body not the garment itself. Please choose the size that most reflects your measurements.

I loved the design on this, and the waist had a surprising amount of stretch. However, I guess I have a longish torso, so sadly the bust gathering came up too high. The construction was really impressive, I loved the subtle Art Deco V.
