A fantastic new blouse - with added finesse. We are simply thrilled with this new 1940s blouse and fans of authentic vintage will love all the 1940s details we have added.
We have not held on this beauty.
Wear the collar open or button up to the top, using the loop with the hidden covered button. This makes it super authentic. Sleeves are long and full with a slim cuff which fastens with 2 covered buttons. We've also added a small shoulder pad in the sleeve head - which again creates that iconic 1940s silhouette.
Since it is mainly designed to be tucked into natural/high waisted trousers or skirts, the 5 *shell buttons stop just above the waist. Beautiful tailored darts into the waist create a flatter blouson look.
Check out those pockets! Fabulous chevron shape pocket with feature fold. Whilst you wont be able to put a great deal of modern items in those pockets - they simply look darling and just scream 1940s.

This is the first Sweetheart blouse I've purchased and it certainly won't be the last. I'm a EU size 38-40 and size UK 14 ran larger than I expected it to be, but it wasn't a big problem as the cut is so flattering and can bear being worn a little loose. Loving the details as well, and the fabric falls so beautifully! I've said this about the 30s shorts as well but now I do want one in every color! Speaking of color, the shade is perhaps a little more muted than in the pictures but certainly not dull.

I love this blouse! So much so that I have added the other colour to my 'please get me things I actually like for birthday / Christmas' list for my husband.
The size is perfect, I got a 12 and it fits fine with my post baby belly!
The fabric is so comfortable, the colour and the details on the blouse are perfect, this is currently my favourite piece of clothing.
